Digital revolutionaries take note:
The Medders are on iTunes
All are encouraged to rate and leave either rhapsodic or scathing reviews. Lukewarm reviews are also accepted. As always, a big thanks to whoever buys and/or shares our music in any form.
In other news, on the morning of September 25 three of the Medders (Carson, Cheyenne and Will) joined their friend Stephen Jerkins (of The Nobility) for a rock performance and demonstration for 2 to 5 year olds at Wayne Reed Christian Childcare Center. The following songs were performed:
Please Please Me (Beatles)
O Bla Di O Bla Da (Beatles)
Johnny B. Goode (Chuck Berry)
Ain’t Time (Medders)
Twinkle Star/ABCs/Baa Baa Black Sheep
Blue Skies and Rainbows
When The Saints Go Marching In
Toward the end the children helped the band compose a song entitled “Jingle Bells Rainbow Twinkle Star”
The gang headed to their favorite meat & two, Rotier’s, after the show.
The daycare show wasn’t by any means the first covering of the Fab 4 for the boys. Earlier this month Rocky & The Raccoons (u.k.a. The Medders) put in a hard day’s night at the annual Memphis Urban Ministry banquet. There was twisting, shouting and strawberry cheesecake forever.
